- Wi-Fi Request: Connect your iPhone to 2.4GHz(only) home WiFi even as setting up HomeKit (recommend 1, 6, 11 channel). If you are having a Mesh WiFi name for both your 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi and it keeps fail all the way through setup, please turn off the 5GHz on your WiFi router temporarily. Make sure that your smart device is at all times covered by strong WiFi signal, differently your smart device may not respond to Home app.
