MG Chemicals ABS 3D printer filaments are made of high purity Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene pellets with a tight diameter tolerance. The new plastic spool is designed with a big hub to verify a uniform winding of filament and cut outs on the sides to easily see how much filament is left. ABS Filaments withstand higher temperatures and offer great machinability, flexibility and strength making it the most popular selection of engineers and professionals. ABS plastic can also be vapour smoothed, dissolved and welded in our 434 Acetone making post processing easy. You will need to note that a heated bed printer is required to work with this kind of material and because it’s petroleum based it emits a slight odor when heated, making it less desirable for home use. It’s endorsed that this product be printed in a well ventilated area. ABS print temperature is 220 °C – 240 °C / 428 °F – 464 °F on a heated bed at 110 °C / 230 °F (These temperatures may vary between printers and colors).
